Hey, have you heard the news? Vega, a leader in plant-based protein products now offers a Cashewmilk Yogurt Alternative! Can you see me doing a happy dance?
Why am I so happy? I’ll tell you! One of the things I’ve missed since removing dairy from my diet was the ease, richness, and flavors of yogurt, not to mention the potential benefits of active live cultures. Vega Cashewmilk Yogurt Alternative has all of that and more.
First off, Vega Cashewmilk Yogurt Alternative has 13 grams of plant-based protein! As a vegan, one of the questions I hear the most is, “where do you get your protein?” Now, I can add Vega Cashewmilk Yogurt Alternative to the list!
The protein, plus electrolytes like sodium and potassium make Vega Cashewmilk yogurt a great recovery option for athletes! It also has minerals such as magnesium, zinc, and iron. It’s so easy to grab a carton after my run and start the refueling process. I love topping it with some blueberries or bananas!
One thing that I’ve missed on my plant-based diet is the active live cultures that yogurt provides. Thankfully, Vega Cashewmilk Yogurt Alternative contains these cultures, including prebiotics, and probiotics. This is because the process of producing Vega Cashewmilk Yogurt Alternative is similar to dairy yogurt.
Ah, but what about the taste? Vega Cashewmilk Yogurt Alternative comes in four flavors, Vanilla, Blueberry, Strawberry, and Raspberry. I was able to pick up Vanilla and Strawberry at my local Sprouts Market. My first impression was to note how rich and thick it was! It was really creamy too! And best of all, it was delicious! My favorite was Vanilla, but I really liked all the flavors.
Vega Cashewmilk Yogurt Alternative is great for an easy nutritious breakfast or snack any time of the day. It’s made with plant-based whole food ingredients and has 13 grams of protein. You can find it at Sprouts or Whole Foods (or check the store locator for other locations).
Then you can join me in my happy dance and live like you mean it!

It is so good!

I love all the Vega products. I just wish they could have used a non-nut milk for the yogurt–we’ve got anaphylaxis to tree nuts at my house and I couldn’t risk my son eating it by mistake!

Oh dear, that’s a shame. It’s hard to pick a non-dairy milk that works for all.
