Ugh, medicare seems so daunting. We are fast approaching that age, although there are still a few years to go. My husband will turn the big 6-0 next year.
I learned so much when my husband became eligible. One of those things is to start planning early!
I remember when my mom turned 65 and went through this. I suspect most of us don’t like to think about this stuff until we have to. In my experience insurance has a reputation for being frustrating and tough to wade through. I’d be thrilled if that is not the case with Medicare
The complicated part is that there are many different options. Medicare only provides so much, so supplemental insurance is a must. Wading through that can be a challenge.
Thankfully my hubby has a lot of experience in working with health benefits & financial planning. It’s an overwhelming arena!

My parents love Medicare! They do have a supplement but it’s great how there’s no copay. I hate to think that I’m now approaching the age where I have to think about this.
My husband loves Medicare too. I’m actually excited about it because, as a part time worker I don’t get it through work and I never know from year to year what’s going to be available or how much it will cost.
