Are you getting a little tired of the campaign season? Are you wondering who is the best candidate? It’s obvious! Captain Obvious is running for president! And he’s doing it the only way he knows how: by actually running his race across the country.
Captain Obvious is Running for President
As a personal trainer and runner, I have a deep respect for any presidential candidate who believes in the importance of physical fitness. Yeah, those other hopefuls can talk about issues and problems, but Captain Obvious is taking on the gigantic task of physically running across the 3,000 miles or so that is this great country! As Captain Obvious says, “I’m fit to run. The other candidates don’t seem fit at all!” Here is his announcement:
Hotels.com has great faith and confidence in Captain Obvious, so they are helping him in his venture by not only providing his running shoes, socks, shorts, etc., but also giving him a place to stay at night as he crosses this land.
Humor is something that is frequently missing during a presidential campaign (intentional humor, anyway), so I, for one, appreciate Captain Obvious’s take on the race. He has a verified Twitter account with over 300,000 followers where he provides obvious and culturally relevant observations. He will even be live-tweeting during each presidential debate.
I’m running for President, so I don’t want to waste time standing still. I’ll tweet debate while running. #GOPDebate pic.twitter.com/tKe7nyZndm

Captain Obvious ran through my state, California, too (obviously). I was sorry I missed his run, but, fortunately, I have this video so that I can virtually participate in his campaign.
Did you miss Captain Obvious’s run through your state? You can see them all here.

Angela @ Happy Fit Mama
I had no idea he was running 3000 miles! I like his hotels.com commercials and truthfully, he seems more apt to run the country than other candidates!
Debbie Woodruff
I agree. This is the perfect year for Captain Obvious to run.
Deborah @ Confessions of a mother runner
He’s got my vote for sure! That’s a long way to run
Debbie Woodruff
It sure is! Anyone who can do that surely can “go the distance” as president, right?

I had not seen this!!!! Must check it out!
I am tired of it all ESPECIALLY the right. They are acting like babies & bullying type words – it is despicable. The left – yes, we do typical stuff but at least it is adult & not done in the dirt like the right. Never seen anything like this is my life. I wish we had a main stream media that called them out!
Wendy@Taking the Long Way Home
That’s a lot of running! I can appreciate that!
He could probably do a better job than any of the other bozos running…
Amy @ Running on Faith and Coffee
I could vote for him LOL! I am getting very sick of this campaign season. I’m ready for it to be over!
