Welcome to the Friday Wrap Up!
I just wanted to pop in quickly to wrap up the week before Alan and I head off to Big Bear. He’ll be announcing a triathlon, I’ll be (trying) to run in the higher elevation. We’ll also be visiting a good friend who lives up there.
Good timing too, as it is heating up, literally, here in the desert. It’s been fairly mild so far this late spring, but temperatures are expected to jump up to 120 by Monday. Sadly, we’ll be home by then, but a couple days respite in the mountains will be welcome.

Did you hear? Skirts Sports just opened their first store! Some of my fellow Skirt Sports Ambassadors were fortunate to be in Boulder for the grand opening last week, but sadly I couldn’t make it. We can all still celebrate, though, with savings!

Hi there, Debbie! You’re in Big Bear?!? That’s so awesome!!! My husband is the Exec Dir of a children’s summer camp/retreat center about a 1/2 hr outside of Big Bear! I was just at the Walgreens this morning! Haaa! I love it.
I want to congratulate you on your new blog! You are definitely an expert blogger as well as a fitness expert, and with so many useful blogging tips and valuable information, why wouldn’t you start a blog on blogging?! I’m excited to start checking out your posts.
I’ll be at the Twitter Party on Monday night. I’ve only been to one other Twitter chat and I ended up leaving after about 10 minutes. I never did tweet anything because the comments seemed forced or fake. I just couldn’t come up with any genuine responses so I gave up.
So if you have any tips for successfully participating at a Twitter party, I’d love any help you could give me!😳

It is a small world! We’re back home now (sadly because it’s just going to be so hot here over the next couple days), but we always enjoy our visit. My husband announces the Big Bear Triathlon every year. I’d love to get up there a spend a few days at some point.
I wish I could give more tips about Twitter parties. Maybe after Monday I’ll be able to, lol. I’m actually going to do a little research tomorrow, since I am a cohost, and should be able to keep up, right? What I usually do is keep an eye out for the questions that are asked, to make sure that I answer them all, make sure to use the hashtag (#luckyeats). If I get behind I retweet people so that I stay involved :-). I’ll let you know if I learn more tomorrow.
