My days are long. Really long. And I’m sure your days are no different. Today I want to tell you how Foodie Fuel helps me keep going through my w-h-o-l-e l-o-n-g d-a-y.
I usually wake up around 4:00 in the morning. My day starts with my dogs jumping on me letting me know that they are ready for breakfast. So the first part of the morning is spent dealing with feeding and walking the dogs. Oh, and coffee. Lots of coffee.
From there I go for my run, then come home, shower and get ready for work. Because I’m a personal trainer, my work schedule is dependent upon my clients’ whims, so some days I start at six or seven o’clock and don’t finish up until after 5:00. I also see a few private stretch clients, so sometimes I’m hopping into my car to drive off property to see my clients in their homes.
Welcome Foodie Fuel Snacks
While I always eat a solid breakfast, such a long day requires snacks. Thank goodness I was recently introduced to Foodie Fuel Snacks.
Foodie Fuel Snacks are a delicious, nutritious, and easy to carry snack that has recently become my favorite way to stay fueled up and keep away my notorious hunger pangs (that involve shakiness, cold sweat, and basically feeling like I’m starving if I haven’t eaten anything for more than three hours).
I think that the best thing about Foodie Fuel Snacks is that they contain only whole-food ingredients that you can pronounce, like sunflower seeds, golden flax seeds, pumpkin seeds, and chia seeds, with just a touch of sweetness from coconut sugar. You can see the full list of ingredients and the benefits of each here.
Not only are these snacks made with fresh, whole foods, they are also certified organic, non-GMO, gluten-free, Paleo-friendly, and vegan. Each serving (there are four servings in a 4 oz. bag) provides complete protein (all essential amino acids), healthy fats, low-glycemic, slow burning carbs. Foodie fuel is designed to be the perfect bridge food to give you sustained energy for your day.
I immediately tossed a bag of the Butter Toffee in my purse so that I would have it on hand no matter where I was. Alan snagged the Vanilla Coconut (which I actually allowed only because I’m not a big coconut fan). Um, both were gone by the end of the day. They’re that good!
I was even inspired to make a video! By that time I’d finished up the Butter Toffee and had moved on to Swiss Chocolate.
The other night I tried the Swiss Chocolate crumbled on top of some non-dairy ice cream. Oh my gosh! What a great combination Cherry Chocolate Soy Ice cream and Swiss Chocolate Foodie Fuel Snacks make! They add just the right delicious crunch to the ice cream.
For some reason, I saved the Cinnamon Ginger for last. I’m not sure why especially once I tasted it and decided it was my favorite. The cinnamon and ginger complement each other perfectly to make a delicious, crunchy yet chewy snack that is packed with raw energy.
Foodie Fuel Snacks are delicious, portable, and full of healthy, filling ingredients. They’re perfect as a snack, to bring on a hike or bike ride or send with the kids to school. They are also great to serve with ice cream, yogurt, or even with your favorite non-dairy milk.

These look tasty! I love that it’s fuel, not just a snack. I always carry snacks with me (my husband tells me to have a snack bag at all times!) I do not like getting hangry. All flavors sound good, but Chocolate and the Cinnamon I’d try first!
