In Time for the Holidays: BTS Sport Bluetooth Headphones Review

A few weeks ago, I was sent a pair of Audio 66 BTS Sport Bluetooth headphones to try out, plus a second pair to give away. I’ve been using these headphones for everything from running to gym workouts, to just hanging out listening to music.

I’m actually going to start this review with the only thing I had doubts about the BTS Sport Bluetooth headphones. When I first put them on they felt a little bulky. Actually, I shouldn’t say “felt” because the BTS Sport is extremely comfortable. They are so lightweight that I can barely feel them on my head.

It’s more like, when I first put them on, they looked a little bulky. But the more I wore them, the more I decided that was just in my mind. In addition to being lightweight, the BTS Sport stays in place and doesn’t bounce around, even during a run. And now that the weather is getting cooler, I have found an added benefit of the BTS Sport: they keep my ears warm!

I especially like to wear the BTS Sport during gym workouts. Their design seems to block out some of the ambient noise from my surroundings (like other music playing over the speakers) and allows me to just hear what I want to hear.

With the BTS Sport there are no wires to get tangled with whatever workout you’re doing. They leave your hands free, staying on snugly, while giving you control over your music and telephone with just the touch of a button.

They use the newest Bluetooth 4.0 technology, which allows a much longer range (though I’m usually within a few inches of my phone while I’m using them). Just for a test, I left my phone on my dining room table and was still getting good solid sound all the way (around a corner and down a hall) into my bedroom.

The battery seems to last FOREVER! I charged my BTS Sport when I first received them, a few weeks ago. With fairly regular use, probably one or two hours a day, I haven’t yet had to recharge! That’s great battery life.

And finally, and most important, the BTS Sport headphones sound great! While I most often listen to books while I work out, I specifically have tested them with music. The sound is rich and real.

The BTS Sport was voted the best Bluetooth headphones of 2015 by Men’s Fitness. I guess I’d have to agree with them.

Overall I loved the BTS Sport Bluetooth headphones and I highly recommend them. They are a great bargain at only $60. They’d make a great gift for the fitness lover in your life (or you can put them high on your wish list!).
