Years ago, I was a jigsaw puzzle fanatic. I loved colorful and complicated puzzles that took days or even weeks to finish. I could spend a little time every day winding down, putting together my puzzle while relaxing after a long day. Then, life got busier, and basically, I ran out of space to keep a table clear for a puzzle. I think the dogs had something to do with it too.
Until now! I am so excited to find the digital version of Jigsaw Puzzle! It’s available for Apple and Android devices as well as for the Amazon Kindle Fire (I downloaded it to both my iPad and my Android phone!), so you really can take your jigsaw puzzle anywhere.
I’m gradually working up my skill level again. Fortunately, Jigsaw Puzzle lets you do that by giving you a choice of how many puzzle pieces you want to use. On a tablet, you can choose up to 1024 pieces (400 on a phone)! Plus there are other ways to challenge yourself if you wish, like allowing rotation of the puzzle pieces or playing against time.
Playing the digital version of Jigsaw Puzzle is really similar to the old-fashioned way. You can move the pieces around to see if they fit, you can try out different pieces and know that you have the right one because they will click together. You can change up the “table” background and even select soothing music or nature sounds while you play!
With over 20,000 free jigsaw puzzles to choose from I’ve been really busy trying out as many as I can! There are themes, such as travel, animals, artwork, food, and more, to choose from. You can even make a puzzle from your own photos! So far I’ve put together kittens, dogs, and the Eiffel Tower!
On my tablet, I’m currently working on a 324 piece puzzle of Venice. It’s super colorful which makes me happy. I have the sound of the ocean playing because I find it such a relaxing way to end the day. I even bring it to bed until I get too sleepy to concentrate.
On my phone, I have a colorful kaleidoscope jigsaw puzzle. It’s perfect for any time I spare time. I can work my puzzle when I’m waiting for an appointment, between clients, or when we’re traveling. It’s fun, relaxing, and a great break from social media!

Alan and I even play together when we have a chance! He’s not as much a puzzle person as I am, but he enjoys finding the right piece before I do.
If you enjoy jigsaw puzzles you need to download the app and give it a try! With so many free choices I’m sure you will love it as much as I do.

Although this sounds fun, I know it would totally suck me in LOL I have lots of fond memories of doing jigsaw puzzles on snow days and during Christmas break. So much fun!

That is such a cool idea! I had no idea they had a digital version of puzzles. I am really into crossword puzzles but I do still like the old fashioned paper and pen for those.
Wendy
How fun! I just texted my sister–she’s the puzzle queen! Thanks for sharing.
