I recently had the chance to try out the ExoGun Massage Gun. It provides percussive therapy which can reduce pain and improve mobility. This post contains affiliate links. All opinions are my own.
Percussive massage guns are very popular right now and for good reason. For one thing, they feel good! Giving yourself a massage after strength training or a run is a great way to finish your workout.
While massage guns are fairly new, there is some research available that points to their benefits. One compared the effect of vibration therapy and massage in the prevention of DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness). It found that both massage and vibration therapy decreased the incidence of DOMS compared to the control group that received neither. (source)
There is a lot of anecdotal evidence though. Massage therapists themselves use massage guns to help reduce pain and improve mobility in their clients. Other massage gun fans include chiropractors and personal trainers who use them to break up adhesions, improve blood flow, and help with recovery.
Massage guns are a great tool to help reduce pain and improve mobility. I use them for myself and my clients. Here's my review of the #exogun DreamPro plus some #massagegun tips! #adClick To TweetThe ExoGun DreamPro
When I received my ExoGun DreamPro I immediately charged it because I was so anxious to try it out. It comes with a rechargeable battery that charged quickly so I was able to get right at it. Here are my thoughts plus some ways the Exogun can help you reduce pain and improve mobility.
Design
First of all, I really liked the design of the ExoGun DreamPro. It fits comfortably in my hand, making it easy to hit most of my “spots.” It has four interchangeable heads that allow you to use the right tool for the job. I generally prefer the larger ball-shape head, but when I use it on my clients I’ll change the head depending on their needs and where I’m using the Exogun.
I also like the led power panel that shows what speed you’re using and the battery level. That’s really helpful if you carry your Exogun with you without the charger. You can know exactly how much charge you have available.
Power
While I found the lower speeds of the ExoGun to be a little too low for my needs, it has six speeds and the higher levels were great. At high speeds, it provides 3200 percussions per minute, which is comparable to other higher priced massage guns.
Convenience
Because of its long-lasting battery, it’s easy to throw the ExoGun DreamPro into your gym bag and take it with you everywhere! Right now, through the end of April, you will also receive a free case. Either way, it’s super convenient to take to the gym or work (yes, If I have to sit at a desk for hours at a time I would bring my massage gun!).
Noise
Massage guns have a reputation for being noisy. This is an important feature to me, both for my own use and for using it with my stretch clients. There’s nothing relaxing about a jackhammer working on your tight muscles!
Fortunately, the ExoGun DreamPro is one of the quietest massage guns that I’ve tried. You can listen to the video below to see just how quiet. At 70 DB it is much quieter than some other massage guns which can hit over 100 decibels.
Affordability
If you’ve ever thought about purchasing a massage gun you’ve probably seen that some cost $600 or more. The ExoGun DreamPro is much more affordable at only $199! And right now you can save even more by using the code CDR10 to save 10%. Click here to purchase the ExoGun DreamPro and save!

I am really enjoying my ExoGun DreamPro! It has power, it’s quiet, and it’s an economical choice.
How would you use the ExoGun DreamPro? Where does your body need some extra attention?

I’d love to have one of these, thank you for the review.
Although, I would probably terrorize my husband with it, so that I finally get a good back massage, haha!

Nice! I fell in love with the massage gun at JackRabbit during marathon training but never realized there were consumer priced ones. Thanks for the in-depth review!
