We can call this a gift guide for bloggers. Or we can be honest and call it what it really is: a blogging wish list, which will be perfect to show your significant others, family and friends when they ask you what you want for Christmas. Here is my list of the best gifts for bloggers.
The Best Gifts for Bloggers
Big Ticket Gifts
Wouldn’t we all like a new computer for Christmas? I know that I would. Here are two great options. If you’re a Mac lover, a new Apple MacBook Pro will light up your holiday. And if Windows is your thing, try the Lenovo Flex 3 14-Inch Touchscreen Laptop. I love my Lenovo Ideapad, but I’d be ready to step up to a touch screen and lighter weight portability.
If you’re looking to improve your photography game, the first step is to get a good camera. I’ve been very happy with my Canon Flex T2i, which was my Christmas gift a few years ago. The latest model, the Canon EOS Rebel T6i 24.2 MP Digital SLR Camera will help you create beautiful, clear images that will take your blog to the next level.
Great Blogger Gifts at Great Prices
Even a great camera can’t overcome really bad lighting. A light box can help not only light up your photos but provide a neutral background that will make your pictures look crisp and professional. The LimoStudio Table Top Photo Photography Studio will enhance your photography skills.
Do you feel like your blog could use a little freshening up? How about asking Santa for a new theme? StudioPress Themes are all based on the Genesis framework (which I use and love), which helps you build incredible WordPress websites (especially if you add Genesis Design Palette Pro which gives you the tools to really personalize your theme, even if you have no design or coding skills).
Want a pretty theme? Pretty Darn Cute Design has beautiful, feminine themes, plus a support team to help you set up and personalize your blog.
Whatever your blogging goals, you can find a book that will help you achieve them. One such book is being given away today to celebrate our first Blogger’s Pit Stop. How To Turn Your Blog Into A Six-Figure Money Making Machine, by our guest host Sarah Titus, will tell you how she did just that in just two years. If you don’t win, you can add it to your wish list!
Planning Ahead
Every blogger needs a good planner to keep track of deadlines, revenue, and even use as an editorial calendar. For the last several years, I’ve used the AT-A-GLANCE Executive Weekly/ Monthly Appointment Book/Planner. It has a monthly planner calendar, weekly appointment calendar, travel expense log, and other useful tools, plus a couple handy pockets in the front.
However, for 2016, I have something special! I won the Kate Spade Black Zip Around Personal Organizer Planner in an Instagram loop giveaway, and it’s beautiful. I’m excited for the new year so that I can start using it.
Gifts That Keep on Giving
Every blogger knows that there are some very useful blogging tools available that charge a small monthly fee. The problem is that those fees can add up, which is why they would make a great gift. Here are some of my favorites (hint hint to the people who may be shopping for me this year!):
PicMonkey for photo editing (the basic version is free, but the Royale membership, which includes extra fonts, frames, textures, and other tools, is $33 per year.
Board Booster for automated pinning to Pinterest (try it out for free, then it’s available on a sliding scale starting at $5 per month).
Hootsuite for scheduling social media (the basic version is free, but for $10 per month you can upgrade to multiple accounts).
Co-Schedule is an editorial calendar complete with social media sharing (free trial, then $15 per month).
Whether you’re waiting for Santa or gifting yourself this holiday season, these blogging gifts will ensure a very merry Christmas.
And now it’s time for the Blogger’s Pit Stop!

Wow what a great roundup of gifts and a lot I didn’t even think of! What a great idea with the Pit Stop 😉 xo C
Debbie Woodruff
Thanks Courtney, now you know what you need for Christmas! 🙂
CARLA
Im so excited you all have started the PIT STOP.
Im more a reader now than a full time blogger…..but I still love it.
Debbie Woodruff
Thanks Carla, don’t stop being a logger completely though please. It will leave a hole in my life.
Angela @ happy fit mama
I’ll take one of everything on the list! And the blogger pit stop is genius. So much info!!!
Debbie Woodruff
Thanks Angela. I admit, it is basically my personal wish list. 🙂
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine
A new design is on my list 😉
Debbie Woodruff
Oh goody! That’s exciting!
Christine @ Love, Life, Surf
I’ll take one of each too please!! What a great list and totally forwarding it to some people who might need ideas for some other people 🙂
Debbie Woodruff
Yes, it’s definitely more of a wish list, but one can hope, right?
Carol Cassara
Loving this! I came from the linky and am visiting bloggers this morning and enjoying myself!
Debbie Woodruff
Well, thanks for linking up and stopping by! I can’t wait to do the same after work.
Judy @ Chocolaterunsjudy
I need lots of help in the blogging department so thanks for organizing this!
Some day I really would like to make a little money from it, but I’m still scratching my head at how, since I so often find advertising so annoying and I don’t consider myself a “real” writer.
Debbie Woodruff
I would say that you are already a real writer. It is a craft though, so we get better with practice. Ads can be tough. I’ve scaled back, but I actually make more money from sponsored posts than advertising anyway.
Susie @ SuzLyfe
I actually have that lightbox!
Debbie Woodruff
I hope you like it. Both because I recommended it and I’m thinking about getting it for myself 🙂
Deborah @ Confessions of a Mother Runner
That studio light box just got added to my list! I have been trying to work on my recipe photos. Your new link up looks great. I don’t “know” your co hosts yet so looking forward to checking out their blogs.
Debbie Woodruff
I need a light box too, so it’s on my list as well (which is basically what most of the gift guide is, my list 🙂 ).
Jill @ RunEatSnap
I am going to have to check out the Genesis design palette pro! Sounds like something I need 🙂
Debbie Woodruff
I love it. It makes it really easy to change things like colors and fonts without having any design experience.
Haley
Debbie, this is a great list.
Congrats on your Kate Spade. The Wellesley planner was on my radar for a bit. I ended up buying a compact Filofax instead to double as a wallet, but that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t take the KSW also. It’s so purdy.
Debbie Woodruff
I haven’t actually received it yet, so I’m really excited to see it. It’s “in the mail!”
Divya @ Eat. Teach. Blog.
Yes, yes, yes. All those things would be so fantastic!
Debbie Woodruff
I told you it was a wish list 🙂
Sue @ This Mama Runs for Cupcakes
Great list of gifts! I would love one of those light boxes! And so many great posts about blogging! Looking forward to checking them out!
Amber E2SYL
I love gift guides! I am thinking I may need to add that light box to my list! AS far as lighting I feel like I live in a cave. I move my lamps around to try and take better photos but even those don’t seen to be enough light. I have a great camera (Nikon D-70) but your right, if the lighting stinks it is still tough to take good pictures.
Sagan
WANT that light box! Such a great idea… putting it on my wish list 😀
Danielle
Great gift list! I’m definitely checking out the light kit!
Thanks for the list of ideas!!!
-Danielle
Wendy@Taking the Long Way Home
I’d love a new design. But since my blog makes no money, it doesn’t make sense for me to spend any. I’m going to follow along to learn more about doing it myself…
Akaleistar
Awesome gift ideas! The Table Top Photo Photography Studio looks really cool 🙂
emma t
I’m pretty happy with all the blogging equipment and themes etc I have at the moment, but my list has lots more photography equipment on it – gopro accessories, and Lightroom subscription would be good.

Adrian
These are some good ideas. I wish a few of them were going to be in my Christmas stocking, but my family is obvivious to my blogging activities. However, that doesn’t mean that I can’t buy MYSELF a little somethin’, somethin’. I’m thinking a year’s subscription to Tailwind is headed my way. #SITSSharefest

Great. I think Computer will be the best gift for the bloggers. Because they need a computer every time. Thanks for sharing your amazing gift idea and one more thing that is, blogger Sarah Titus. I am a big fun of her. Thanks again for made her weekly celebrity blogger. Thank you very much.
