Quick confession: I’ve been going commando for running, fitness, and yoga for years. And, since I work as a personal trainer, and wear spandex daily, I #GoCommando in my work clothes too. So there. Of course, I’m a longtime Cottonelle fan, so I’ve had clean confidence for a while.
Of course, Cottonelle is not the only thing that gives me confidence. I work really hard to stay fit and strong. I start most days with a run, sometimes long, sometimes short, occasionally fast(ish), frequently slow. I work my muscles with some type of strength workout several days a week. Some days it’s yoga, others it Pilates. I also love weights, using the TRX, and once in a while an outdoor, body weight only workout.
Confidence goes beyond fitness and the strength of the physical body. I try to keep my brain “fit” too. I read, stay current, and play games (Words with Friends anyone?). Speaking of friends, staying connected with other people is important too. And my writing is an essential part of my confidence, from the putting of the pen to paper (figuratively speaking), to the feedback I receive, to the connections that I’ve made through my blog.
One thing that took me a while to learn was not to compare myself to anyone else. Whether it’s trying to look like a photoshopped model on a magazine cover, or wondering why someone’s blog is more popular, trying to “keep up with the Joneses” does nothing but bring you down. Self confidence must come from within, something that is a lot easier to say than to do. What I’ve learned as I’ve gotten older is that I am enough. And so are you.
Confidence is one thing. Freshness is another. And that’s where Cottonelle comes in. First off, the CleanRipple® texture of the Cottonelle make me feel really clean. Then I had the pleasure (truly) to try the Cottonelle Fresh Care Flushable Cleaning Cloths for the first time and the only thing I can say is, “where have you been all my life?” I guess the least TMI way of saying it is that it truly freshened up my bathroom experience.
In addition to the freshness (no alcohol!), the Fresh Care Cleaning Cloths are totally safe to flush. They break up quickly after flushing and are safe for both septic and sewer systems. And the whole family can use them! The handy one-touch dispenser keeps them moist and ready for use.
How about it? Do you want to feel freshly clean and confident enough to #GoCommando? Here’s a free sample kit especially for you!
Okay, this was the first time I used my rear aspect as a marketing tool. Now that’s confidence.
Do you go commando for fitness, running or yoga?
Lisa @ RunWiki
Well, it a good thing your rear is so cute to look at. ๐ Going comando is something I’ve done for as long as I can remember… especially when running. hehe
Debbie Woodruff
I really do it because I HATE g-string type panties and I refuse to have a panty line. So it’s all about vanity, I guess. And comfort.
Linz @ Itz Linz
typically no, but i’m not knocking it ๐
Jamie King
OMG, I love this post. I also always go commando while working out ๐
Debbie Woodruff
Haha! Thanks Jamie.
Steph
yep.
Trish Marmo
The idea of going “commando” while working out has NEVER crossed my mind…until now! I’m a diehard #Cottonelle fan however and I didn’t even realize they offer wipes! Thanks for the info., I’m going to check them out!!!
Debbie Woodruff
I hope you grabbed a sample pack!

OMG – too cute!! I used to go commando but I hit a certain age with too many issues & even toilet paper is not going to help so I wear undies now but ones that are pretty good at not showing lines. Just feels better to me in my old age! ๐
Debbie Woodruff
Interestingly (or not I guess), I have less problems not that I’m older. And I hate most panties that don’t show lines. Most involve some kind of floss between my cheeks ๐
Jody - Fit at 57
I have found non floss that work – I love the Moving Comfort! ๐
Lucie Palka
Yes, I do go commando in my yoga and running gear! It’s just more comfortable and who wants panty lines? You did a great job with your photos! Way to sport that confidence!
Sandra Laflamme
I go commando when I am cycling and sometimes when I am running. We are cottonelle fans in our house!
CARLA
always ๐
Deanna @ The Live Fit Girls
I love me some Cottonelle wipes!! I #gocommando for everything BUT fitness (and in dresses…that’d be a bit much!!) Ha I’m backwards!
ps. LOVING your leggings! ๐
Andrea@TablerPartyOfTwo
Love this post! I’ve never been the commando type, but perhaps I should be. ๐ Love Cottonelle wipes!
