Spring is on the horizon, less than one month away. After a long winter that’s reason to celebrate. One of the best ways to celebrate is to freshen up your Spring Fitness. How do you do that? Well, I have a few ideas.

Freshen Up Your Spring Fitness
Are you stuck in a winter fitness rut? Stuck indoors, maybe doing the same thing, workout after workout? Spring brings renewal, with warmer weather and longer days, so it’s a great time to freshen up your Spring fitness. Flowers are blooming and so can you with these tips.
Are you stuck in a winter fitness rut? It's almost Spring so it's time to freshen up your fitness with new routines and @adidaswomen fashion! #fitness #fitnessfashionClick To TweetTry a New Class
One simple way to freshen up your fitness is to try a new class. Try yoga or a Zumba class (or both). If you’re like me you frequently tell yourself you should be doing more yoga, so now is a great time. If you belong to a gym, check out their class schedule and give something new a try. Or check out the millions of options available on YouTube.
Try a New Workout
It’s easy to get in a fitness rut during the winter when it’s cold, we’re stuck inside, and we just want to get things done. That’s why now is a great time to freshen up your spring fitness with a new workout. Give the TRX a try, pull out the BOSU, or pick up some kettlebells. Need some help? Work with a personal trainer or Pilates instructor to make sure you’re doing it right.
Focus on Recovery
It can be easy to skip some of the important recovery work, so why not freshen up your Spring fitness with a focus on recovery. Dust off your foam roller, grab your massage gun, or pull out that tennis ball, and give your body some love.
Opt Outside
I know many people that face the winter weather head-on and run outside all year long. Most of us though have been stuck indoors for a few months. The warm weather of Spring can give you the opportunity to take your workouts outside. I’ve discovered over the last few months, with our indoor gym closed, how delightful exercising outdoors can be. Lace-up your running shoes, grab your TRX or unroll your mat and #optoutside.
Brighten Up Your Wardrobe
Dressing the part has always been important to me. I feel better when I look better and now is a great time to freshen up your Spring Fitness look. Brighter colors, softer fabrics, and fun styles are just the ticket to put some “spring” in your routine!
I adore these Believe This JEM training tights! First of all the colors are so beautiful. They are co-created with New York artist Jorden E Moss (JEM) who uses colorful plants and faces to celebrate our own limitless and resilient nature.
The sweat-wicking material is made with Primegreen, a series of high-performance recycled materials. These tights will take you through your workout and keep you going in style through your day.
The fit has slight compression and the fabric feels soft and breathable. These tights are so comfortable and light! They are my new favorites.

I am SO ready for Spring. Unfortunately up here, it often doesn’t truly arrive until Summer — sometimes we skip right over it. But the days are getting longer, warmer, and the snow is melting — plus I hear more & more birdsong all the time!
I love dressing in cheery colors! It just puts a smile on my face.

Our winter weather is like spring, spring is like summer, and summer is basically like hell. 🙂
I love bright colors! It makes me happy too.

Right now, I look outside and see a LOT of snow. Spring cannot get here fast enough for me! Love your ideas for doing something new this spring. The pigeon pose (sort of?) on top of the foam roller looks like something I should be doing. Gonna try it. And, YES!!! I do need to spice up my spring running wardrobe. Thanks for the suggestions!
Debbie Woodruff
It is kind of like a pigeon pose, so you get a good hip/glute stretch, but it’s also a great position to be in to roll out your glutes.

I am more than ready for Spring.
And yes on the clothes and getting outdoors…often.
I do need to try new things…Lazy and busted.

Whatever the season, I think freshening things up once in a while is a good thing. Both for your body and your brain!
Renée @runlaugheatpie
I just started a new strength and flexibility program AND bought a bunch of stuff from inkNBurn that I didn’t need! haha!!
I really love those tights – I’m going to check now if there’s shipping options to NL…
Debbie Woodruff
I think changing things up is a great thing for the body and the mind. And I think they ship to the Netherlands, at least I think that’s what this means: https://adidas.knoji.com/questions/adidas-international-shipping/

You know I am all about freshening up my workout clothes and mixing up my routine. Hoping for some more outdoor fun as the temps warm up

I love new workout clothes! 🙂

I am so very ready for spring! I especially looking forward to being outside more without having to worry about ice and snow!
Those tights are so cute 🙂
Debbie Woodruff
I would be so scared to run on the ice! I have a hard enough time on the dry roads!
Wendy
Bring on spring!!! I do love those tights–it’s so fun to run in new, bright clothes, isn’t it?
Debbie Woodruff
It is! I love these tights a lot!
Jenn
So cute! We don’t get much of a spring here (it goes summer-summer-winter-summer), but I am always up for cute new clothes and new classes.
Debbie Woodruff
Same here. We don’t even really get winter. We have spring in December and summer starts in March.
Zenaida Arroyo
I am so ready for Spring! I love all of the bright colors of the outfits. I just ordered a few Oiselle shorts and am excited to wear them.

It’s fun to get some bright new outfits for Spring!
