I told you a while back that I was selected as an Ambassador for LuckyVitamin, so today I want to tell you a little more about the company, their history, as well as about the great prices you’ll find on a wide variety of vitamins, supplements, and more (including tons of vegan items!).
LuckyVitamin started as a small family business back in 1956. What was originally a pharmacy, started by Ed Wolf, evolved over time, and with other family members, into first a health food store, then, in 2005 with the launch of the LuckyVitamin website, an online movement.
After 60 years in business, LuckyVitamin and the Wolf family are still dedicated to being an inspiration and supportive source for products and knowledge, to help you on your journey towards happy wellness. I’m honored that they selected me as an Ambassador.
I received my first order from LuckyVitamin a little while ago, and I wanted to share some of the great products and prices. Of course my order is just a drop in the bucket of the full line of health, fitness, wellness, and skin care products available, so if I manage to pique your interest, be sure to check out the website and check the bottom of this post for a few of the current deals (as of April 24, 2016).
My LuckyVitamin Finds
Vega Sport Recovery Accelerator
I love Vega Sport Recovery Accelerator! I try to have a bottle prepared whenever I finish up a tough run or race. I was so excited to see that the price from LuckyVitamin was about 25% lower than I’ve seen elsewhere.
40,000 Volts Electrolyte Concentrate
I’ve been trying out 40,000 Volts Electrolyte Concentrate for my workouts. I just add about a half teaspoon to my water and I’m ready to go. I’ve been pleased so far, and, at $12.35 for an 8 ounce bottle, I’m saving a lot of money over some other electrolyte drinks.
BWC (Beauty without Cruelty) Products
Beauty without Cruelty makes quality, reasonably priced products that are guaranteed to be both cruelty-free and vegan. I ordered the 3% AHA Facial Cleanser, the Skin Renewal Lotion with 8% AHA (yes, I have a lot of alpha-hydroxy acid in my life these days!), and the Ultimate Mascara. The price for all three products was less than $40.
Deva Vegan Vitamins
Deva Vitamins are an easy and worry-free way to make sure that I’m getting the nutrients that I need without worrying about the ingredients. This time, I got the Vitamin D2 and the Coenzyme Q10. I also use the Multi-Vitamin, Calcium/Magnesium, and Vitamin B-12.
Lenny & Larry’s Complete Cookies
What can I say? When I saw Lenny & Larry’s Complete cookies for about a $1 less than I usually pay, I could resist. I bought four. And yes, they’re all gone.
Current Specials
Some of these specials just go through the weekend, some are while supplies last, so be sure to check them out soon!
Education and Resources
Finding great health resources and opportunities for education is just one more thing to love about LuckyVitamin. The LuckyBlog offers great advice about such topics as fitness, GMOs, detoxification, the environment and much more. The Ask the ND series features Dr. Jeremy Wolf with healthy information, benefits, and facts about popular nutritional supplements and wellness topics.
If you subscribe, you not only receive notice about current specials, you receive educational emails as well, such as the one I received today discussing going dairy free. I loved this infographic that they shared, showing both obvious and not-so-obvious names of dairy products on labels.
I hope you’ll take a moment to check out this awesome family business. I’m sure you’ll be as impressed as I am.
While I am an ambassador and I receive an allowance for purchases during the year, I was not compensated in any other way. These are not affiliate links.
