If you’ll recall, about two years ago I started a second blog, focusing on social media, blogging and internet marketing called the Media Fitness Coach.
three six months I discovered that, if running a blog is time-consuming and challenging, running two blogs was just downright impossible (for me). Media Fitness Coach sat, neglected and un-updated.
Until now. In recent months, I have not been completely happy with where this blog, Coach Debbie Runs was heading. What started as a fitness and running blog had changed, and I wasn’t sure if I was happy with that. Posting a blogging related article once a week was fine, but when I became a co-host for the Blogger’s Pit Stop I felt that I was talking too much about blogging, and not enough about my first loves, running and fitness.
Re-Introducing Media Fitness Coach
So I decided to do an overhaul on the Media Fitness Coach. I updated the theme as well as the posts, cleaned things up, added a few necessary plugins, and I feel I am ready to go. From this point on, my blogging tips related posts will appear on that site. For the time being, there will also be an introduction on this blog in the hopes that my readers that do appreciate the blogging tips will head on over.
Media Fitness Coach is still a work in progress, and I’m sure I’ll be tweaking things here and there over the next several months, but it is up and ready to go today with a new post! Here’s a taste:
8 Things to Know Before Starting a Blog
Have you been thinking about starting a blog? Perhaps you own a small business and would like to increase engagement on your website. Or, all of your mom-friends tell you that you are funny and wise, and you’d like to share that with the world. Or you love fashion, fitness, running, or have lost a lot of weight, and you’d like to share your knowledge and experience. Or you love to cook and bake and have hundreds of delicious recipes just waiting to be shared. Or…well, you get the idea. Continue reading on Media Fitness Coach.
I’m very excited about this change. It will give me more time to focus on what is important on Coach Debbie Runs, but still allow me to write about blogging, which I love as well, without taking anything away from this blog. I will continue to co-host the Blogger’s Pit Stop every week, so you can link up your best posts.
So now, I hope you will hop on over and read about the 8 things you should know before starting a blog!
